To show some poses, I will lay down right beside you and get in the pose! Seeing me do it is SO helpful! From there I will make little adjustments to your hair and outfit, and we are ready to go!

Once it’s time for your shoot I will ask you to do simple things such as: “bring that shoulder towards me, bring your chin forward a bit, now look up at me with your eyes, put your hand here, etc.” It’s super simple and again you don’t need to do anything to prepare for this. As mentioned before, some poses will require some bending & stretching, so try to get some good stretching in before you arrive....even stretching the entire week before your session helps!

Girl, it is 100% normal to be nervous! I always say that the two most nerve-wracking parts are sending the first email (which you have already done - GO YOU!), and the anticipation of the shoot. It's normal, because this is out of your comfort zone. Humans are designed to want to stay within their bubble, so when the bubble is threatened, nerves set in! Just know you are not alone, and you are going to love your experience - full disclosure...this is really addicting!

know that it's normal

Please be sure to arrive at your session no earlier or later than your designated time. It is important to be on time to make sure the day moves smoothly and that your session is not cut short because of tardiness. I love for my Peaches to be relaxed and not worried about time!

arrival

Wash your hair the night before, or preferably, the morning of your session! We don’t want grease to show in your photographs, and if there is a hint of grease at all, it WILL show! Make sure your hair has enough time to air dry (or blow dry it), before you come into the studio! Make sure your face is nice and clean - you may wear moisturizer if you would like, but no makeup at all!

clean

You are not going to want to skip this step! I will be making you arch, bend, and lengthen body parts that you normally don't move especially in a way that we will be moving them! Every single client is sore after their session, so do yourself a favor and stretch out before your session! It is a workout!

stretch

Make sure you are wearing loose clothing on the ride to the studio! There is nothing worse that a tight bra, undies, or even SOCKS leaving marks on your skin for your photos! The best idea is a t-shirt or maxi dress that you don't have to wear anything under!

clothes

Scrub your feet the morning of your session. I know how silly this sounds, but dirty bottoms of feet are not cute in any photo! I recommend washing your feet, put some lotion on, and then sock up! I would keep your socks on during hair and make up (as long as they are loose fuzzy socks, nothing tight!)

This is it, the day that your life is going to change!
Be prepared to see yourself in a way you haven't in a long time...possibly ever!
Make sure you read all of these tips to make your day go as smoothly and enjoyable as possible!
